Jr. Cadets
The Jr. Cadet program held by the Anaheim Police Department is designed to build respectful, disciplined, and responsible children throughout the community. The program is currently working with the following schools in the City of Anaheim:
- Betsy Ross Elementary
- Danbrook Elementary
- Maxwell Elementary
- Hansen Elementary
- Horace Mann Elementary
- Palm Lane Elementary
Explorers
The Anaheim Police Explorer Post is a program for young men and women interested in learning about careers in the field of law enforcement. The program is designed to offer students the opportunity to be involved in community activities.
- Must be between the age of 14-21
- Must be in high school or a graduate of high school
- If in school, must maintain a “C” average
- Must be free of any serious criminal record
- Must be willing to be an active member
After School Center
The After School Center gives kids in Anaheim a place where they can feel safe, have fun and meet new friends.
- Tutoring/Homework Club
- Computer Lab
- Arts and crafts
- Game tables
- Movies
- Videogames (Play station and Xbox)
- Outdoor games (Baseball, Hockey, Basketball, etc
